Cairo by bus for two days

Cairo by bus for two days is a unique excursion in which you will visit not only the sights of the city of Cairo, but religious places that include Muslim shrines and Christian temples.

On day 1

you will visit: National Egyptian Museum. The museum houses a rare archaeological collection of 250,000 original artifacts dating back over 5,000 years, considered the largest collection of Egyptian art in the world. In addition to the recently opened Kings Museum, which features the mummies of the kings and queens of Pharaonic Egypt, as well as all their art collections, holdings and gold artifacts.

The Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, the pyramids of the pharaohs Cheops, Khafre and Mikerin.
Great Pyramids of Giza
The Pyramids of Giza consist of three main pyramids: Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure.
The Pyramid of Khufu, also known as the Great Pyramid, is the largest and oldest of the trio. Its sides rise at an angle of 51°52′ and are precisely oriented to the cardinal points.
The Pyramid of Khafre is the second largest and was built for the fourth king of the 4th Dynasty. At the top, part of the outer limestone shell remains.
The Pyramid of Menkaure is the smallest of the three, built for the fifth king of the 4th Dynasty.
On the Giza plateau, at the gates of Cairo, are the pyramids. They are famous above all three: Khafre, Mitserino and, the most famous, Cheops; perfectly matches the stars of Orion's belt.
The Temple of Cheops is the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World that is still preserved. It is the largest, 140 meters high, and the oldest in the world, its construction began around 2500 BC.

On day 2

you will visit: Citadel Salah ed-Din. Saladin decided to build a citadel to become the ruling center of Egypt. It has witnessed historical events throughout Egyptian history and has been the seat of the Egyptian government for many centuries. The Ayyubids, Mamluks and some Ottomans ruled Egypt from the Citadel. It has even more secrets and surprises that you will discover only by visiting it during one-day tours in Egypt.
Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali. In mosques, according to Muslim customs, it is forbidden to depict the faces of people; there are also no icons, so the walls are decorated with various ornaments. The prayer hall is square in shape, the width of which is 40 meters, and the height of the dome is 52 meters. The windows are decorated with stained glass, through which dim light shines. The scale of the hall is truly impressive - when a person gets here, he feels like just a grain of sand in this kingdom of Allah.
Church and monastery of St. George, Church of St. Paul.
The monastery was founded at the end of the 9th century by Saint Paul of Xiropotamia, the son of Emperor Michael I, and dedicated to St. George the Victorious. Another tradition claims that on this site, before the arrival of St. Paul, there stood an ancient monastery in honor of the Entry into the Temple of the Most Holy Theotokos, founded by a certain Stephen during the reign of Emperor Constantine the Great. In the 9th century, the monastery was located on the lands of Xiropotamus and was probably attached to it.
The Church of the Holy Virgin Mary is a Coptic church in the territory of Old Cairo, at the top of the Water Gate. Also known as the Suspended or Hanging Church
The church is one of the oldest Christian churches in Egypt. Its history dates back to the 3rd century AD. Previously, one of the bastions of a Roman fort was located on this site, which served as the foundation. The building took on its modern appearance in the 7th-9th centuries. In the 11th century, the residence of the Patriarch of Alexandria was located here.
The church got its name due to its high location above the bastions of the Roman fort and the water gates.
Inside there is an ancient iconostasis made of Lebanese cedar wood and inlaid with ivory.
The church houses more than 100 icons, the oldest of which date back to the 8th century. The church also houses the relics of several saints. The Coptic Museum is located next door.
